More BUGGLES!

So the Buggles are finally here! It has taken me much to long to finish them off but now they're done and ready to go to their new homes! Like always there is only a limited amount of them, three Blue, Three Pink, One Yellow and one Turquoise. When they're gone, they are gone so hurry up and grab one! You know you want it! >.<

Galaxy, Buggles and Pigeons...

So, I managed to get hold of a Samsung Galaxy dummy phone! I have been planning to do cases for Samsung Galaxy for a while now but I don't like to offer products for devices I can't test the products on  before sending them out. My boyfriend told me in the middle of me ranting that I could get dummy phones (display models, none working)! I had no idea! But now I have my first one anyway and so I can offer all of you lot with Galaxy S3's and S4's sleeves too! How great is that?! Well I sure am happy to be able to serve more people around the globe!
I am trying to finish this lot off as well. All the Buggles I started ages ago. The Buggles in the shop are now sold out so I thought it'd be about time I put up some more. So in a few days they will be available for you guys. I will let you know and make a nice little post with all of them together.
Also, in this hot weather birds are really struggling out there to find water! Loads of birds are dying, but you can help out. It is as simple as this. Just put a Tupperware box or a bucket of water (not to deep, we don't want them drowning whilst trying to help) out for the birds to drink out of and to take a bath in. We're enjoying company every day from these two, and yesterday there was 5! of them. All in the box at once! It goes to show how desperate they are for water. So help our fellow bird friends out! It's so simple! ^.^

The Snow Colossus: Making of pt. 1

Yesterday I finally made a start on the Snow Colossus. I've been looking forward to this so much. This sculpture will be quite big and I am using techniques I have only read about. So this is a massive challenge. This is how far I've come and this is how far it will be done for a while now. I need to get sand to go inside him as he will be too top heavy when I attach his face and antlers. I also need to find good antlers still, which has proven quite hard. There is plenty of them out there but none of them have the perfect shape. Maybe I will just have to settle with something "less" perfect. I am just so picky!
Anyway, here is the making of the Snow Colossus part one! Hope you'll enjoy even though he looks more like something a little bit naughty at the moment ;) lol

Sand...

Updates have been a bit on the short side since the move I know. I have been working allot and therefore not had much time to be creative other than sorting orders out :'(.
However, yesterday was Sunday, and Sunday is my one and only day off. Summer has finally hit UK. Finally I say, I am not a big fan of hot weather and yesterday was just too much. I ended up spending most of it in doors, laying on the floor, laying on the sofa, laying on the bed... Yes laying, everywhere, trying to keep as cool as possible. It didn't happen! It was just waaay to warm. We did go down to the beach for a little bit in the evening and I do wish I had gone there earlier, and brought my bikini. The water was lush (only wet my feet) and I just wanted to throw myself into the water with clothes and all. I didn't though. Instead I burried my feet in the sand and made a big sand monster on top. I think this is a clear sign that I need to be creative the next few days. I have three days off starting tomorrow and I am going to be as creative as I can be I have decided. It is too hot to be outside anyway hehe...
Anyway, more updates will come this week, I just need something to show you lot. :D

Back online...

Hello all you lovely people out there! We're back online, well we have been for a few days now but I've been very busy trying to catch up with orders. Anyway, my secret project is back on track and I will be working hard on this from now on. I hope to have it up by the end of July or I will have to punish myself with something horrible like no chocolate until Christmas or something like that.
Now then, to the reason why we had to move again. I didn't want to tell you while I was still living in the old place. But now that we're out I think it's safe.
As you know we moved to Bournemouth last September, and the experience have been not so great to say the least. In the rush of finding an apartment we ended up taking the first one we saw. It was crazy as all new students tried finding a new home at the same time as us, so flats were gone the second they came up on the websites and it was all very stressful. Anyway, we were happy with out choice, but I had a bad tummy feeling about it.
It was ok for the first few months, however little problems started appearing around the flat, like damp and then we found a leak that nobody would sort out. The flat just seemed to grow smaller and smaller. But then about 4 months ago, the old estate agent decided to move in heroin addicts in the ground floor flat. Great idea! And after that one incident after the other just made life a living hell in that place. There were drug dealing going on in the back yard, fights, people trying to kick in doors, bikes being stolen from the locked bike shed (including my boyfriends), people over dosing and so on and so forth. It came to the point where I  couldn't sleep in fear of someone climbing on to the roof to break in to our flat. I was scared when I left the house and when I came back. I was so frustrated and scared in the end that I was just crying, and felt like a prisoner in my own home.
So we finally decided that enough was enough when my boyfriends bike got stolen. We went in a mad search for a new flat. And wow we have seen some horrible places! Luckily, the last one we had booked in was AMAZING! And in the area we wanted too. It is lovely up here. Even to we live in the middle of a town center, it is quieter than where we lived before. People up here are so nice and friendly and you barely see any problems at all. It is great to say the least. It is in an old building from the 1800's so it's got loads of quirkiness to it, with weird angels and massive windows. I am very happy here to say the least! And on top of that we have to a roof terrace! Yeeey!

Currently I'm working on sorting my office/studio out and I won't show you any pictures until it's all done. I need to sort some curtains out but have realized that with big windows also comes big costs, when it comes to curtains, so I think that might have to wait for a little bit. But yeah there is a few bits and bobs like that that I need to sort out before I can invite you to my boudoir haha.

It is great to have a whole room dedicated to your creativity though. It has given me even more inspiration (like I needed it!) for new projects. First of all I need to clear my overdraft though. I have never ever had one in my whole life but there was no other way to get out of the hell hole we were in so I guess it was for a good cause hehe.

Anyway, I am back and soon I will have some new goodies for you as well.
